Evil Developer Demographics
Game Developer Demographics — other demographics not reported: 99.9% are pure evil, 87% are elves, 12% human, 1% jackal, 23% are sadists, 68% play their own games (masochists) and only 12% return their shopping carts to the cart corral. This is all from my own anecdotal research, however, and may not be statistically sound.

The judging has been completed for the World of Warcraft Wanted Poster contest. The five winning entries, plus some honorable mentions, can be seen here. Submissions included the usual suspects — murlocs and infamous Warcraft NPCs — as well as everyone’s nemeses: the ninja looter, the spawn stealer and the professional gold farmer.
New contests have been announced, Halloween-themed of course: Pumpkin carving and Halloween screenshots. Winners get a copy of WoW plus six-months game time added to the account of their choice.
If they’re looking for scary, I’ll tell you what’s scary: it’s almost the one-year anniversary for World of Warcraft and time to look back at how far we’ve come. Or haven’t.
It’s going to get LOUD.
