If I was a suspicious sort, I might think, ‘WoW, quite a ka-ching going on for Blizzard Fileplanet’.

I generally don’t deal with Fileplanet unless I have to … mostly just to see if anything interesting is going on, ever. The 49 popups on every page piss the fuck out of me, not to mention the questionable relationships. But hell, far be it from me to judge anyone for paying $8 (?) to play an open beta.

I’ve been paying Sony to play their betas for years.
