A Stranger in a Strange Land

The wind just kind of pushed me this way

*imagine a disjointed computerized voice*

Welcome Foton. We knew you’d be back.

(wtf! Did you hear that?)

Why don’t you just input your credit card information now to save yourself the bother later? We know how you hate being bothered.

(surely you heard THAT!)

umm, you already have it. But, I’m just passing through.

Of course you are.

No, I’m serious. Just trying out … heh … the trial. *gulps*

You know how it is.

Of course.

It was too hot to sleep. I followed the distant sound of a Siren. The wind just kind of … pushed me this way.

(this is sure stirring up some ghosts for me.)

There’s one thing you’ve got to learn. Is not to be afraid of it.

No, I like it.

I like it, it’s good.

You like it now. You’ll learn to love it later.

Hang the rich.

(fuck the courage of my convictions. God, I’m weak.)

  1. EQ2 has kept me entertained for the last couple of months. Being a hardcore EQ player back in the day(starting in December 1999), I was rather shocked at how much easier EQ2 was over EQ.

I hope you enjoy your time in EQ2land. If not, I hope you rip EQ2 to hell and gone so I can read about it and nod my head in agreement.

  2. Hmm, my comment got messed up. Oh well, I was just saying how much I liked that song and now I have to go dig the CD out of the basement, thanks.

  3. “I’ve been down this road before. It always starts out like this. A joke, a taunt, a throwaway idea. Next thing I know, I’m back on duty in Norrath.”

And now, the prophecy is complete. Don’t try to fight it.

I can’t wait to read some updates from Norrath. You know, just for the “trial” of course.

  4. I can’t go back to EQ! I only have level 65s. Imagine the shame! I was just checking the trial for EQ2.

Emphasizing … I was just checking, having a look around, trying out a few things.

  5. i understand why your trying eq2.

im a long time mmorpg – er? er.

all i can say is that from my experience with eq2 and wow is that both games are suffering from something. n00bitis.

I also recently went back to norrath (havent been there since 2201 when i discovered dereth). LFG – Troubadour looking for good old fashoined style xp group!
