Eat, Drink, Play with Explosives

Fireworks!

The fireworks ordinances in World of Warcraft’s Ironforge are very liberal. How many times does Ironforge have to burn to the ground before we get some safety measures in place?!?

And, would it kill them to put up some guard railings along the Molten Span chain bridges? Shit, just summon my ass to the zone — after a couple of cocktails, there is NO WAY I can negotiate my way safely over a narrow, slimey bridge.

Anyways. In a fitting tribute to America and her historical ties to capitalism, I noticed that some assrag had put some stacks of fireworks for sale in the Crack House … stack of 5, only cost ya 1 gold and saves the walk across the bridge to the NPC vendor.

That’s American, too.

Proud to be an American Idiot,

  1. Also American: Doesn’t it strike you that the laggiest place in Azeroth–Ironforge–is also the most commercial? Kind of an interesting statement about the people in WoW: the thing they’re (we’re) most interested in is making money. All those cool quests and colorful mobs just can’t keep ’em away from the auction house.

  2. That’s bullshit. It’s simply because of the auction house. If all mobs would have been in a single place it would have been much laggier than Ironforge. Adding some additional auction houses that work on the same network would greatly ease the lag.

  3. yeah, wow should be socialist. All characters should b exactly the same. Perhaps the wow socialist government should randomly take items out of your inventory and give them to others.

  4. I’m with Roman – wouldn’t it be nice if they had AH terminals in the larger towns that reflected the nearest auction house? FFXI could manage it, and there isn’t a more player-unfriendly game out there than FFXI.

  5. lol, I certainly don’t think WoW should be socialist. I’m all for more auction houses. Although I also think it’s kind of cool that IF is like the Wall Street of Azeroth.

  6. Also, Merc – you are completly ignorant of what a socialist government is.
