Imprisoned by Corn

Clickable Culture has screenshots and details of a player prison in bizarro Second Life: Hidden Virtual-World Prison Revealed. Man, do I love this idea! Miscreant players serve their game suspensions in a deserted cornfield with a tractor and a black-and-white television. EQ had a similar, although more rudimentary, GM room for wayward players — where I was summoned two times (thankyouverymuch), once for language and once with my guild for being server assrags. We just got a talking to (yes sir. no sir. ok sir. can I go now?) and were on our way. This player prison for suspensions is so much more … evolved!

  1. I never had the pleasure, but in FFXI minor bannable offenses such as harsh language would get your toon a few real-world days in Mordian Gaol. Four walls, three virtual hots and a cot.
