Now that I’m wise to this viral marketing game, I’m seeing it everywhere. Like this (now locked) post on the Warcraft forums about WHOLE GUILDS leaving WoW for DDO. (Furl archive — a locked thread is on borrowed time.) He’s either pulling a DDO paycheck or he, and everyone on his imaginary friends list, is high.

I vote for paycheck. He’s only made 3 posts in the life of that character, all of which sound fake (Ninja for an expansion that’s well known to have no extra classes, and a brown-nose to the max post).
I wish this were true, I wouldn’t mind if my sever dropped half its population. haha.
