Warcraft rogue talent review RC2: Rogue Talent Review – Second Sight. What looks good on e-paper: “Garrote, Eviscerate, and Rupture now all scale with Attack Power. The previously announced Eviscerate book will still be made available in an undisclosed location. While we had always planned to scale these abilites at a point in the future, we felt that the rank upgrade for Eviscerate and damage increase for Garotte would provide a well needed boost in the current game and carry these abilities until the scaling mechanic was implemented. Our ultimate goal to scale the abilities in a future update was decided to be moved ahead, and the current plan is to implement scaling for these abilities in 1.12, instead of in a later update.” Rogues are reportedly cautiously optimistic.

Its a buff, no doubt about it, but the whining from the rogues running UBRS in all blues will still continue as it is rather small in the case of eviscerate and it is unknown whether they will be able to get the Rank 9 book (for less than 2k gold that is).
The real thing to watch is Rupture. It scales now and has Serrated Blades to give it 30% more damage. If it is given the ability to critical, then this very much puts hemo in the PvE possible category. No, you will not own the damage meters with that. But overall raid dps should increase by reasonable margin.
