Apparently, this C.O.D. mail scam has become so popular that would be scammers don’t feel the need to even bother with spelling anymore. If you value your gold, double check anything in your mailbox.

Exploiting people’s stupidity. A timeless classic. Also, Foton: nice bookmark. I made you this:
Pirate chick with a peg-leg = hawt.
(yeah that didn’t work. this.)
Thanks! Gonna use that as my new forum sig cuz there’s really not enough glitter in the world.
Preach the word of glitter, sister.
I just don’t get how folks can fall for that scam. I really don’t. Someone sends you a “gift”, but you have to pay for it and even hit a confirmation button agreeing to the COD. If you have to pay for it, it isn’t a gift. So that should be the big, GLARING neon sign that something’s wrong even if the spelling and general situation don’t tip you off.
This was a nice posting:
“These are probably from kids…
I really didn’t understand a lot about WoW until I went to visit a 10 year old and a 12 year old who play WoW.
They find it fun to beg.
They find it fun to scam people.
They find it funny to ninja loot.
I had a long talk with them about morality in life and games.
I learned a lot about why so many people in WoW are so wierd. “
Bizz: Heh. The funny thing is, two of the nicest players I know are the 11- and 14-year-old kids of a friend of mine. They were just raised to be exceptionally polite and nice, and they’re nicer players than most adults.
heather: true, but then again you often see that irl aswell…
