Where in the WoW?

Where in WoW (02-15-08)

Zealotry is alive and well in World of Warcraft.

Now, for something completely different. I’ve been running my alts through the paces of the Love Fest in WoW because I really want to score one of those Truesilver Shafted Arrows. Annoying guildmates year-round is a priority of mine and those tiny Kwee PeddleFlapsalots are mighty annoying.

I’m not sure how many years they’ve run that Love is in the Air event, but I’ve been denied every year. By the looks of it so far, I’ll be denied again this year.

Nevertheless. Here’s a helpful hint if you’re similarly farming Love Toys: Do NOT bother with that beggar-bum behind the Stormwind Auction House — he’s a repeat heart-breaker, a Love Criminal. Three times he turned me away and now I hope he’s arrested for loitering and thrown into the Stormwind Stockades where he belongs.

Topper McNabb, Love Criminal

Of course, maybe I’m just not his type.

  1. It’s the Sentinals in Darnassus that are the Love Criminals!!! They mock you by accepting the first token and then the second and third they throw in your face and tell all their friend’s nearby to do the same!

  2. It took me over 200 of the pledges to finally get the Truesilver Shafted Arrow. It will be well worth it to annoy other players year round (plus it netted be PLENTY of romantic picnic baskets and silver shafted arrows to shoot at other people this week).

  3. oh hey, i got the truesilver shafted arrow on one of my first love tokens in stormwind. had no idea what it was until i opened it. too bad, i would have sold it before i took it out of the box if i’d realized. =/

i do want the romantic picnic, but c’est la vie.

  4. Wierd, I got the one my priest has for free from someone saying last year “Anyone want this [Truesilver Shafted Arrow] for free? Have 2”. Guess I got lucky. I gues from your post I understand why people hate it so much when I summon him.

Boguht the picnic basket on a new stealth alt for 10g a few days in and now have a spare. Planning on keeping it for a few months, then sell for annoyingly large amounts of money…
